Inocente is a teen artist, who also happens to be homeless and undocumented. A film about her won the Academy Award last Sunday as "Best Documentary Short." The making of Inocente was funded in part through donations to the Kickstarter project.
This video was pretty motivating, it made me think about how wanting to achieve something can come to you just as fast as actually going out and getting it if you are passionate about it in your heart first. I believe that this girl deserved this break through and she is actually talented. this short film was inspiring and is good to know that there is a statistic count that will actually make it a point to know there are kids out there that are homeless and it makes it easier for the homeless to get help. -Samone Lindsey
